Austin Taylor

Hi, I'm Austin 👋, a photographer based in Lerwick, Shetland, Scotland, available for photography services across the surrounding areas.

With over 30 years of photographing the Shetland Islands, I am continually inspired by the incredible opportunities this unique landscape provides. There is always something new to discover, and I feel I have only begun to explore its beauty through photography.

My work covers a wide range of subjects, including weddings, events, fashion, portraits, landscape, wildlife and astronomical photography. I also regularly contribute to the press and media, with images licensed for use in books, magazines, newspapers and television.

A central focus of my photography is capturing the true character and atmosphere of Shetland – its landscapes, wildlife, people and the ever-changing light that makes the islands so special.
