1955,one month before my 15th Birthday I joined the Wiltshire Gazette, (now the gazette & Herald), as an apprentice photographer.
Then came the Army as a photographer rose to the dizzy hights of Sgt. that's as far as you can go. Then the Hearts & Essex Observer. Joined the BIPP. Also we lost our eldest Son to cancer.
Went to Rhodesia/Zimbabwe. Chief Photographer Rhodesia Herald, returned UK 1976 freelanced The Times & Sunday Times, just great, stuffed by the big fleet St. strike. Retired 2020 as Chief Photographer of the Dorset Echo.
