My journey into photography came relatively late in life after a 13-year career as a lawyer. The arrival of my second child gave me the opportunity to leave behind a fascinating but demanding profession and pursue my passion for photography.

Based in South West London, I undertake commissions in a variety of locations and specialise in capturing authentic moments that reflect real life and human connection. I completed City & Guilds photography courses before achieving a Distinction in a Foundation Degree in Photography at Nescot (North East Surrey College of Technology). Upon graduation in 2010, I was awarded the individual prize for photographic imaging.

I am fascinated by photography's ability to capture, in a fraction of a second, the many aspects of life and what it means to be human. My approach is natural and observational, allowing genuine moments and personalities to shine through.

My understated presence can be a real advantage when photographing people, particularly in street and documentary photography, as subjects often feel relaxed and uninhibited in front of the camera. This helps me capture authentic images of people, families and children as they truly are.

My two sons continue to provide endless inspiration and opportunities to develop my photography, reminding me every day of the importance of preserving life's fleeting moments.
