James Edmond

Hi, I'm James 👋, a photographer based in Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland, available for photography services across the surrounding areas.

James Edmond Photography began as a way to combine my love of photography with my passion for music and travel. Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, my journey into photography started in 2007, capturing landscapes, nature, rustic architecture and live music.

Over the years, I have developed my own photographic style through a combination of self-teaching, experience and photography courses designed to further develop my skills. I enjoy exploring a wide range of genres, including landscape, nature, portrait and street photography, working in both colour and monochrome.

My photography is inspired by the moments that stop me in my tracks – incredible locations, unique details and scenes that create a lasting impression. When I make an image, I often already have a vision of it in my mind, and the final photograph must reflect that original feeling and memory.

I share my most personal work from the places I am fortunate enough to visit, capturing the atmosphere, character and emotion of each location. For me, a successful image is one that recreates the experience and feeling of the moment it was taken.
